During laser hair removal, a laser emits a light that is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair. The light energy is converted to heat, which damages the roots of the hairs. This damage inhibits or delays future hair growth. Laser Hair Removal does not work with all hair colors (usually ineffective for blonde & red hairs). Laser Hair Removal is a process and always needs a series of 6 or greater treatments to get to desired outcomes.
